Goy Tel, A Series of Unfortunate Events
You know what… this is a hell month for me. First, the salary adjustment which I’ve been waiting for turn out to be an adjustment of 3% instead of 30% which me and my fellow colleagues have anticipated. Come on man…That can’t even cover the inflation! Second, my wife suddenly got pneumonia and was admitted into the hospital for 4 days. I didn’t know that pneumonia is contagious. So on the first day she was at the hospital, I brought my folks and my daughter to see her. When the doctor came into the room, he told us that this thing is contagious and quite dangerous especially to children and old people. There you go! Why the hell you didn’t tell me when you attended my wife earlier. Third, as my wife at the hospital, my daughter fall sick. Poor her…took her to see her pediatrician. The doc gave her some antibiotic, concerned if she got infected from her mummy. I didn’t get to sleep for 4 days and I tell you…When it came to giving medicine to that little girl, you can be deaf with her scream. Plus with her struggling and boneless maneuver, calming an angry bull seems very much easier. Fourth, the day someone had agreed to buy my car (cash some more), that was the day the car had an accident. I can’t believe it! And the fucking idiot who hit my car was fucking drunk when it happened. This kind of people should be stabbed on the chest, ripped it open, pull out the heart and give it to the dogs! Fifth, After the car was fixed, I trade in the car with a new car. The thing is, the auto market nowadays is not doing so well and I have to top up few thousands to settle the outstanding loan of the old car with the bank. The day I trade in my car and signed the agreement that was the day I received a call from someone saying that he wanted to buy the car (Also in cash plus cover the loan). There goes my money!
Except for the few thousands loss, things turn out to be ok. On top of the salary adjustment, we got the 5% yearly increment. Ok la…not too bad. My wife has fully recovered and my daughter too. The fucking drunk driver already taken care by the police and I hope things going to be better for me from now on. God bless me!
