11th anniversary

Recently was our 11th anniversary. I wrote a poem to my wife. It was a reply of a poem she wrote to me when she was 16 years old. Yup2!!! i know i know...it was long time ago and only now i reply??? haha...

I framed both of the poems and gave them to her.

TO: YOU

WHEN DAYS ARE LONG AND HOURS STRETCH
A DAY THAT MAKES ME FEEL SO WRETCHED
I SIT BACK AND I THINK OF YOU
BLOCKING MY RUNNING NOSE WITH A TISSUE

A STUPID POEM, YES THIS IS
TO TELL THIS PERSON HOW I TRULY MISS
HIM WHEN I THINK OF ALL THOSE TIMES
HE SAT WITH ME THRU RONES AND RHINES

I WISH HE SAT WITH ME RIGHT NOW
TO COMFORT ME TO ASK ME HOW
I AM AND WHAT I'M FEELING
OH, HOW WRETCHED AND BORED I FEEL

WHEN I THINK OF YOU WAY OVER THERE
IT'S MORE THAN I CAN BEAR
WHEN I'M WAY OVER HERE WITHOUT YOU
BLOWING MY NOSE IN A TISSUE
OH WHAT A STUPID POEM THIS IS

GOOD NIGHT, SWEET DREAMS

As time goes by and days are slight
Life is hectic and everything is tight
A lot of work and everything is due
In the back of my mind I'm thinking of you

You don't have to miss me
You don't have to feel wretched
Because you already have me
As your husband to share your bed

I have known you most of my life
Thank you so much for being my wife
Everyday I will come back to you
To love you more and the children too

You don't have to be alone again
Blowing your running nose in pain
Sorry.. I'm not good in writing like you
But I can always hand you the tissue

Thank you for giving me your love light
Over the beautiful 11 years full of bright
Sorry if I ever hurt you before which I might
I love you so much and see you tonight.
